What cable do I need to convert vhs to dvd using a camcorder?
cfazande asked:
I was told that I could take video from my vcr to camcorder. and then import the video into iMovie.
I have a camcorder, but can't seem to get my vcr to connect to it. I have tried the rca (red white and yellow cable) to it in several ways. When the camcorder is in camera mode, it doesn't see the movie playing in the vcr. what is the right cable to use? Is there a cable that goes from s-video(male) to a/v(female) and if so can someone point ime in the direction of one?

What is the best camcorder to record a basic training graduation?
Michael S asked:
My mom wants to purchase a new camcorder to use at my basic training graduation for the Air Force. I am ashamed to admit, I dont know a thing about camcorders. I did some researched and talked to a few people who recently purchased a camcorder and I'm still very fuzzy. Does anyone have any suggestions? Specific brand and model? Maybe, a general rule of thumb or ruleS of thumb for purchasing a GOOD quality camcorder.

What is the best value-for-money camcorder system?
David W asked:
I am wishing to upgrade my camcorder [Canon V400 8mm video camcorder]. I'm confused over conflicting reports of how easy (or not) editing is on mini DVD and HDD camcorders.
To my mind half the fun of these things is to edit the films into something vaguely entertaining without boring the pants off everybody who has to endure the experience. My computer runs Windows XP and has a dvd burner, and I also have a DVD recorder alongside the TV. Anyone been there and got the T-shirt?
