How do i effectively film myself singing and playing the guitar while maintaining sound quality?
I have a camera/camcorder, a microphone, an amplifier, and an acoustic guitar.
I want to create a youtube video of me playing and singing but the sound quality is horrific if i just film it straight off the camera/camcorder.
I'm not expecting great things, as i dont have expensive equipment and dont plan on getting any, but the tinny/echoing guitar sound is unbearable.

Outdated and need revival...
Hi,
It happens that I had a 8mm camcorder back during the late 1990's, yes those that operates with 8mm tapes! LOL
While on vacation I taped many places and family gatherings which are full of beautiful moments.
Thing is that I lost the camcorder and now I don't know what to do because I want to play the tapes, but the new camcorders only play DVDs, and still the newer ones don't even need DVDs or tapes, they are played by memory cards. The 8mm camcorders are outdated and I want to watch my old 8mm tapes.
This is very important to me because my father passed away last year and I want to revive those never-more-in- life - moments that I'd spent with him.
Please tell me if you have an idea of what can I do. I will invest in the latest camcorder, but I still want to watch the tapes.

Where can I transfer old VHS and 8MM Video tapes to DVD?
I have a bunch of old family movies on VHS and those little 8MM tapes that went into camcorders from the nineties. Most of them are on the little tapes.
For Christmas, I want to transfer them over to DVD for my mom but there's a problem.
I don't want to send the ONLY copy I have of these tapes halfway across the country so some faceless company can turn them to DVD, with no guarantee that they won't get lost or damaged in the mail. I'd like to know where my memories are at any given time, and across the country is not a good option.
Does anyone know any stores that offer to do this locally? Maybe even in-store?
